Milan looking to wrap up Honda deal

Honda has impressed one and many with his recent display in the Confederations Cup 2013. Although Japan went out in the Group stages, Honda left the tournament with his name on everyoneai??i??s lips. Milan was linked with Honda in previous transfer windows too, but then Milan let the deal slip through their hands. Now, with the emphasis once more on the 4-3-1-2 formation, there is a need for a trequartista now more than ever.

Hondaai??i??s contract expires on December 2013 and CSKA might want to cash him in before he goes for free. Although, according to reports, Honda has agreed personal terms with Milan but the only hindrance on Milanai??i??s part is that they need to sell first before they can bring in players. One of the players that Milan is looking to part ways with is Robinho. Presently there appears to be a deadlock with Robinhoai??i??s transfer to Santos with the transfer value being the bane of their discussion.

In all likelihood, this transfer will materialize before 20th July, 2013, when Brazilian transfer market closes. Honda will not only bring with him a new perspective of attacking playing, but also open Milan to an Asian market.

Ambrosini looking for Viola move

In what will be one of the most ridiculous transfer rumors, Sport Mediaset has reported that Chelsea might look for a swap deal between Torres and El Shaarawy. Chelsea have been after Cavani from the beginning of the transfer window and their relentless pursuit seems to have borne fruit. However, the deal will finally come down to the talks between Cavani and Napoli and whether the player actually wants to leave.

From Chelseaai??i??s perspective, this is another rumor where Torres was shown the door by the media. Granted that he had not been the star he once was with Liverpool, he has improved by quite some bit in the previous season. Toores might not be the player whom Mourinho wants in his line-up and with the rumors flying around, these just might create a negative impact on Torres. El Shaarawy has been one of the brightest talents in Serie A last season and it is quite natural that his name will be linked to every big club now.
