David Moyes stated the importance of going into the long international break on the back of a positive result.
“Sometimes you get the international break on the back of a bad result and sometimes off a good result. We went into it with a good result.ai??? ai??i?? The Manchester United manager said.
But international breaks also bring along the possibilities of losing key players to injuries. Moyes stated that he is monitoring the fitness of certain players ahead of their upcoming fixture against Southampton.
ai???It’s always a concern, especially when you have so many players away like we do. I’ll monitor training, one or two are nursing knocks so we’ll need to look at it but hopefully they will be okay.” ai??i?? Moyes added.
