Arsenal and Everton to fight it out for Bruno Martins Indi
Reports suggest that both Arsenal and Everton are lining up a move for Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi in January.
The 21-year-old, who has already made 11 appearances for the Dutch national side, is one of the most highly rated young defender in Europe at the moment. A host of European clubs were linked with him and are monitoring his progress in Holland. Tottenham, Napoli and AC Milan have scouted Martins Indi since last season and now Arsenal and Everton have joined the race for his signature.
Everton were interested him in the summer, but they didnai??i??t lodge an official bid, but manager Roberto Martinez is said to be keen to add to his defensive ranks and is lining up a A?8 million for the Dutchman.
Arsene Wenger on the other hand is also impressed with the development of the Feyenoord youngster over the past two seasons as scouts have submitted rave review about the defender. Arsenal are also lining up a move for the defender and are willing to match his valuation.
Martins Indi was promoted to the first team back in 2010 and since then he has made 78 appearances for them after becoming a regular in the 2011-12 season. His fine performances at club level saw him get his first call-up for the national side in 2012 and made his debut against Belgium.

Wigan interested in signing Arsenal forward Park Chu-Young on loan
South Korean international has been on the peripheral of the Arsenal squad since his move to the London club back in 2011. While his transfer still remains a mystery, the 28-year-old has made only one league appearance for the Gunners so far. Last season Park Chu-Young spent last season on loan at Spanish side Celta Vigo scoring four goals in 25 appearances. Park is yet to feature for Arsenal this season and would consider a move away from the club in order to gain regular first team action ai??i?? or some action at the least.
Reports suggest that Championship side Wigan Athletic are lining up a loan move for Park Chu-Young. Owen Coyle has been left short in the striking department after injuries to Grant Holt and Marc Antoine Fortune and he hopes that Park would be able to fill up the gap upfront. Although he will be ineligible to participate in the Europa League for Wigan, it is a move that will suite both the sides. With World Cup looming large on the horizon, Park would be desperate to win back his place in the national side. Moreover, the striker also has a point to prove and this could in turn help Wigan.
