Arsenal Offer Extenuating Evidence To FA Of Wilshere Being Abused By Man City Fans

Arsenal FC are expected to appeal for leniency from FA as they decide on the length of the ban for Jack Wilshere.

Arsenalai??i??s humiliating defeat at the hands of Manchester City was worsened as Jack Wilshere was caught on video while showing a middle figure gesture to the Manchester City crowd during the game. Arsenal and Jack Wilshere did accept these charges and the 21-year-old is now set to miss out on their next two matches due to suspension. But the league leaders are reportedly unhappy about the two-match ban despite the fact that they didnai??i??t appeal against the charges brought against them and accepted it straight away. Liverpool striker Luis Suarez received an one-match ban and a fine of A?20,000 after a similar incident against Fulham in 2011. However, in a more recent incident, Tom Ince received a two-match ban after making a similar gesture towards the referee during a Capital One fixture in August.
