Spanish agent Gallardo has revealed that Chelsea defender John Terry is currently in negotiations with Valencia for a move in January.
John Terry has been in the eye of the storm recently after he was found guilty of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand by the FA. Terry was handed over a four match ban and a fine for the incident. But even before the verdict came out the former England captain retired from international football stating his position in the national squad has been made ai???untenableai??i?? by the FA.
But the punishment handed over to Terry created further furor among players, fans and media, who complained that the FA has been lenient with the former England defender and pointed out the discrepancy between the punishments handed over Luis Suarez and Terry for similar offence. Chelsea also came under a lot of pressure from media and pundits for failing to strip Terry of the captainship. Last weekend, lot of players across the Premier League protested against FAai??i??s inability to deal with the issue strictly but refusing to wear the Kick It Out campaign t-shirt during the matches.
Now John Terry is said to be negotiating a shocking move in January to Spanish side Valencia according to a FIFA agent. Gallordo has claimed that Terry has had enough of the ai???insultsai??i?? thrown at him in England and he wants to move to Spain. The agent revealed that he is handling the negotiations between the two parties and it has been going on for the past 15 days.
ai???Valencia are negotiating, and I am involved in person, with the signing in the winter transfer market.
ai???The offer is on his table. The player is out of contract in June and will not renew there for several reasons at Chelsea and he wants to come to Spain.
