If reports coming out in Bengali news papers and channels are to be believed, then Kingfisher East Bengal are trying to acquire the services of an Australian A-League player as the replacement for Tolgay Ozbey. News Time Bangla, a popular 24×7 Bengali news channel which telecast I-League live, has reported that Red-&-Gold brigade is in talks with Adelaide United striker and 2010-11 A-League top scorer Serginho van Dijk and Club Deltras young center forward Sean Rooney to negotiate on a possible transfer move. While Sean can be roped in for around Rs 60 Lakhs a season, Dijk’s price may be a concern for the Kolkata giants as he is demanding almost double that amount – reports News Time.
