Ashley Cole recently lashed out at the FA. The controversy has barely passed us by and ai???understudyai??i?? Ryan Bertrand also got in on the act yesterday. Bertrand pulled out of Englandai??i??s World Cup qualifying game against mighty San Marino and was apparently subjected to some questioning on Twitter as to why he pulled out with just a ai???sore throatai??i??. Left-backs at Chelsea do not take kindly to ai???liarai??i?? accusations and therefore, Ryan Bertrand decided to respond in customary Chelsea left back style.
He said on Twitter – “Do you think a “sorethroat” could stop me being apart of a match for my club or country? #yourf******nuts this is what every boy dreams of”
An apology followed shortly after ai??i?? “sorry if i offended anyone by swearing as i don’t encourage that type of language. was just disappointed at the thought of people thinking i only have a sore throat.. which is not the case”
In light of such recent incidents, there must be a debate about whether players should be allowed to use Twitter at all or if usage of the social networking website should be regulated by their parent clubs.

Del Piero Rejected Liverpool Due To Heysel Tragedy
Allesandro Del Piero revealed that he rejected advances from Liverpool this summer due to the respect he had for those who had suffered in the Heysel Tragedy.
