Crysencio Summerville will not Leeds United exit this summer

Crysencio Summerville will not force a summer exit in the summer transfer window, with Leeds United demanding around £35 million to sell him.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Crysencio Summerville is popular in the market heading into the summer transfer window. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are interested in the Leeds United attacker. However, the Dutchman will not force a move away from Elland Road in the coming weeks irrespective of whether they return to the Premier League.

Crysencio Summerville and his rise this season

Crysencio Summerville has blossomed into a productive attacker for Leeds United this season. The Whites have not seen talismanic performances of this level since Raphinha was at the club until two years ago. However, he has played a leading role in the West Yorkshire club nearly clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has contributed to 30 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions, finding the back of the net 20 times while providing 10 assists. Meanwhile, Summerville’s progress at Leeds United has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United.

A man in demand

Chelsea’s interest in Summerville is perplexing, considering Noni Madueke is growing in stature and Mykhailo Mudryk will likely receive a long rope at Stamford Bridge. The Blues first need to sign a striker and a centre-back before concentrating on other positions. However, Summerville’s productivity might be a blessing for the Chelsea attack.

As for Liverpool, incoming manager Arne Slot wants the Merseyside club to sign Crysencio Summerville in the summer transfer window. The Reds can do with a wide attacker amid uncertainties surrounding the futures of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United will likely part ways with Miguel Almiron in the summer transfer window. So, the Leeds United attacker is a viable target for the Tyneside outfit. Meanwhile, the Whites want around £35 million to part ways with the 22-year-old. However, Summerville will not force a move away from Elland Road.

Leeds United’s price range is £30-40 million, but they will likely settle on £35 million. However, with Summerville unwilling to force a summer exit, a deal with Chelsea, Liverpool, or Newcastle United is not on the cards unless they meet Whites’ valuation.
