Premier League giants chase Crysencio Summerville

Crysencio Summerville has had a tremendous season, with the 18-goal Dutch attacker propelling Leeds United to the brink of a Premier League promotion. The Netherlands star could be one of the big stories of the transfer windows in the summer, with a host of clubs chasing down the attacker.

Amid heavy interest in the January window, Summerville insisted on being happy at Leeds United and stayed put. The club’s decision was also mutual, as they may not have allowed a sale of the attacker to any of the interested clubs in the winter months.

However, things could change in the summer, as a host of clubs are already chasing the 18-goal Dutch attacker. Chelsea are one of the sides keen, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham the other teams staking a spot in the chase for the Netherlands star.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Leeds United and their price tag for the attacker. The Championship side is expected to demand a sizeable sum from suitors, especially those big sides. The club’s idea is to keep the forward and fight for survival in the Premier League if they make it there this season.

Where will Summerville join?

Summerville has a big decision ahead of the summer, with a quality of clubs chasing his signature. The forward could also be open to the idea of staying at Leeds United should they show enough ambition in the transfer window and strengthen the squad, keeping the idea of succeeding in the Premier League.

However, the idea of joining a big club might appeal to the star, mainly if someone like Aston Villa retains an interest. Unai Emery’s side can offer him European football next season as well as a good spot in their side that guarantees ample playing time.

Since 2020 he has scored 21 goals for Leeds in the ” lower division” from 71 apps. Hardly setting the world a light. I think if Nketiah would do better if dropped down to the lower division. We need a striker that is proven against European elite teams or against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man city. That’s where the likes of Nketiah or Jesus let’s us down.
