Inter Milan are angling a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer as a possible replacement for Denzel Dumfries.

According to Fichajes, Inter Milan have set sights on Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a replacement for Denzel Dumfries. The English defender is tipped to leave Manchester United in the summer, who incidentally are linked with Inter’s Dutch star, with a lot of possibilities brewing ahead of the summer window.

Inter Milan are interested in Aaron Wan-Bissaka

There’s a lot of chatter around Manchester United and the upcoming window, with INEOS looking to tighten its grip over football operations. Of the many expected departures at the club, Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be one of the names leaving, with Inter Milan now interested in the 26-year-old Manchester United player.

Wan-Bissaka has probably grown out of the system at Old Trafford and is widely expected to leave the club in the close season. Manchester United might look to invest in a new right back and will look at different names in the market as a replacement.

Inter Milan is keen on Wan-Bissaka as they seek a replacement for Manchester United-linked Denzel Dumfries. The Dutchman is also tipped to leave the San Siro in the close season, as he has been looking for a new challenge, and with two years left on his deal, Inter Milan are likely to cash in in the summer.

They view Wan-Bissaka as a potential option to replace the Dutchman, although the 26-year-old Manchester United player barely offers anything close to Dumfries in the attacking third. Hence, it’s an exciting choice for Simone Inzaghi’s side to choose the former Crystal Palace star as the man to succeed the Dutch international, although they might even look at other options.

Could Manchester United offer a swap deal to Inter Milan?

There have been reports stating Manchester United could swap Wan-Bissaka for Dumfries, although there’s a huge gap in the valuations of both players to make that happen. Hence, the chances of a rare swap deal happening are slim, but these clubs could engage in a part-exchange deal, with Inter Milan likely to demand the cash part of it.

Dumfries will also have other options, especially teams playing in the Champions League, should he choose to leave Inter Milan. There’s also Chelsea, who has kept an eye on him for some time as they seek an able cover for Reece James in the summer.
