Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has been offered to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

A report from HITC has claimed that 27-year-old Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer has been offered to Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, his suitors will have to pay a fee of £50 million-plus for the defender. It remains to be seen whether the four English clubs are prepared to make a move for the South American at the end of the season.

Chelsea could certainly use a quality defender especially, with Thiago Silva likely to leave as a free agent in the summer. Bremer has proven himself to be a reliable defender in Serie A, and he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well.

Similarly, Liverpool will have to find a quality replacement for Joel Matip, who will be a free agent at the end of the season. Signing a left-footed central defender would be ideal, and he would add some much-needed quality, depth and balance to the side.

Manchester United will have to sign a centre-back amid uncertainties surrounding the futures of Jonny Evans, Raphael Varane, and Victor Lindelof. And they are scouring the market for a centre-back, with Bremer emerging as a viable target.

As for Tottenham, they have already signed players like Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin this season. However, Spurs could still use another quality central defender. Manager Ange Postecoglou has recently admitted that Tottenham need another defender to complete their defensive unit.

Gleison Bremer asking price could be a problem

The Brazilian is at the peak of his powers, and he could transform Spurs at the back. The reported £50 million-plus asking price could be a problem for his suitors, and it remains to be seen whether Juventus are prepared to lower their valuation for the Brazilian international.

Bremer is undoubtedly a quality defender, and he would improve most teams in the Premier League. He will want to join a big club if he leaves Juventus, and it remains to be seen where he ends up in the summer transfer window.
