Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise has been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park at the end of the season.

According to Fabrizio Romano on Caught Offside, Chelsea and Manchester City have joined the race to sign Michael Olise, and they will compete with Manchester United. The 22-year-old French winger has the tools to develop into a top-class Premier League attacker, and he would be a superb acquisition for all three clubs.

Michael Olise will want to join a big club in the near future, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. Chelsea need to bring in a quality winger like him who will add technical ability, flair and creativity from the flanks. Players like Raheem Sterling have not been at their best this season, and the 22-year-old could prove to be an upgrade on the exit-linked England international.

Meanwhile, Manchester City signed a quality winger in Jeremy Doku last summer. They need another wide player who can take up the right-wing berth after the departure of Riyad Mahrez. Olise would be the perfect fit for them, and it remains to be seen whether they can beat the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United to his signature.

Manchester City have a proven track record of winning major trophies, and Olise could be tempted to join them and work with the world-class Pep Guardiola. Meanwhile, Manchester United need to bring in a quality winger especially after the way Jadon Sancho and Antony have performed since joining the club.

The Red Devils spent significant amount of money on them but both players have been quite mediocre. Manchester United need more quality in the wide areas, and the 22-year-old Crystal Palace winger has emerged as a long-term target. The opportunity to play for clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United can be hard to turn down for any player and the Frenchman will be tempted.

Manchester City will have an advantage in Michael Olise Race

Manchester City will probably have an advantage in the transfer race. The 2022/23 treble winners are almost certain to compete in the UEFA Champions League next season, and they have a formidable squad capable of winning major trophies right now.

On the other hand, Manchester United are going through a transitional phase and Chelsea are unlikely to secure European football for the next season. It will be interesting to see which Premier League club the 22-year-old ends up at this summer.
