Newcastle United will have to pay at least €30 million to sign 20-year-old Argentine attacking sensation Matias Soule from Juventus.

According to a report by Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Matias Soule is the subject of interest from Newcastle United. And the Magpies now know how much it will take to sign the Argentine attacking sensation. Juventus will demand at least €30 million to part ways with the youngster, although the asking price may rise to €35 million.

The Matias Soule Tale

Matias Soule has done well to rise in prominence in the 2023/24 season. A native of Mar del Plata, the 20-year-old is eligible to represent Italy and Argentina on the international stage. But he has chosen the latter thus far, turning out for the country’s under-20 team.

Meanwhile, the Argentine attacking sensation has been with Juventus since January 2020. While he made his first-team debut for the BIanconeri in the 2021/22 season, regular game time eluded him. So, it was hardly surprising that Juventus loaned Soule out to Frosinone last summer, with the youngster amassing ten goals and two assists in 24 outings.

The highly-rated attacker’s progress at Frosinone Calcio has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Premier League outfits, in particular, are keen on signing Matias Soule. And Newcastle United might be one of his prospective destinations.

Newcastle United Want Matias Soule

Newcastle United’s interest in Soule is understandable. After remaining quiet in the winter transfer window, they want to heavily bolster their squad in the summer. And Eddie Howe will pay particular attention to the offensive unit, with a right-sided winger on the agenda.

Miguel Almiron will likely leave Newcastle United in the summer transfer window. In addition, the versatile Joelinton faces an uncertain future at St. James’ Park. So, it behoves Newcastle United to invest in an attacker, with Matias Soule emerging as a viable target. And the Magpies now know how much it will take to secure his services.

Juventus will demand at least €30 million to part ways with the 20-year-old Argentine attacking sensation. But the Serie A giants expect the transfer fee to go up to €35 million. So, it will be interesting to see if Newcastle United can sign him for the least possible price this summer.
