Al-Hilal ready to table €30 million-a-year deal to Romelu Lukaku

Al-Hilal are ready to offer €30 million per year to Romelu Lukaku, who could join the Saudi Pro League club next summer as his AS Roma spell winds down.

According to Calciomercato, Al-Hilal could launch an offer to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer after being impressed by the Belgian’s record this season. The Chelsea star could leave AS Roma for the riches of Saudi Arabia, where he could get a €30 million per year, two-year deal.

Al-Hilal ready to offer big money to Ronelu Lukaku?

Romelu Lukaku will probably move clubs at the end of the season as he could leave AS Roma and Chelsea. The Belgian striker remains in the Italian capital on loan from the Blues, where he may have earlier wanted a permanent switch. But the circumstances have changed.

As recent as December, Chelsea and Roma might have held talks over a permanent switch. But the departure of Jose Mourinho has sparked all kinds of rumours. Lukaku may feel uncomfortable without the Portuguese manager and could plan on another adventure away from the Serie A side.

Al-Hilal are planning a fresh approach for the Belgian striker and could offer him a bumper deal. As per the report, the Saudi Pro League club are keen on offering him a net two-year deal worth €30 million per year.

The salary package on the report is more than three times his current salary and almost close to tripling his Chelsea package. The prospect might tempt Lukaku, as he could bid goodbye to European football for the riches of the Saudi league.

Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea career over?

It certainly looks like Lukaku’s Chelsea career is over, which might have been the case earlier in the summer when relations looked fractured. After flirtations with Juventus and Inter Milan, the beleaguered forward sealed his loan move to AS Roma.

Chelsea are looking for a new striker and could battle it out with Arsenal for Victor Osimhen. They have reportedly set a €43 million price tag on the Belgian and believe that accepting anything less would make them losses in the market.

Lukaku never looked at home upon his high-profile return to Stamford Bridge and struggled at the club. He made a loan return to Inter Milan, but overall, his season was underwhelming, although, at AS Roma, the Belgian appears to have found his scoring touch again.
