This time around, the club are languishing in the 9th spot after the latest rounds, and the Nigerian is at the AFCON, helping his nation in the continental championship.
There were heavy rumours that Osimhen sought an imminent exit after a fallout with the club, although he has since signed a new deal. Those fresh terms came with a release clause believed in the region of €120 million, which Napoli will expect suitors to pay in full.
Arsenal have not firmed themselves in the race for the 25-year-old striker, with Mikel Arteta identifying the Niogerian as the man to improve his squad.
