Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr will reportedly look to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United after failing with a bid for Emerson Royal.

According to a report by Daily Mail, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the subject of interest from Al-Nassr. The Saudi Pro League juggernauts are in the market for a right-back in the January transfer window. They have already failed with a bid for Tottenham’s Emerson Royal and have now set their sights on the Manchester United defender.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Manchester United: The Story So Far

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Manchester United from Crystal Palace. The Red Devils had shelled out a sizeable transfer fee of £50 million to sign the London-born full-back. And he has had considerable highs and lows in the last four and a half years at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old has made his mark with his defensive efforts and is arguably the best right-back in the Premier League from that aspect. But his forward forays rarely yield the desired output, making him a frustrating asset. Nonetheless, Wan-Bissaka has turned out 177 times thus far for Manchester United, chipping in with two goals and 13 assists.

Manchester United recently exercised the option to extend his contract by 12 months. But Aaron Wan-Bissaka has entered the final 18 months of his deal with the club. They will look to open contract talks with the player in the coming months. But the Englishman is courting interest from foreign clubs.

Saudi Pro League Calling?

Recent reports have linked Wan-Bissaka with a possible move to Inter Milan, although Manchester United rejected a swap offer. He has now emerged as a target for Al-Nassr, with the Saudi Pro League club in the market for a right-back.

The Saudi giants have recently failed with a bid to sign Emerson Royal. The North London club will unlikely entertain any offers for the Brazilian international in the January transfer window. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has thus emerged as a viable target for Al-Nassr.

But it is unclear if Manchester United will be open to bids for Wan-Bissaka. Even if they entertain offers, the Red Devils might demand close to £50 million to part ways with him. So, it will be interesting to see if a Saudi Pro League move is on the cards for the 26-year-old.
