Liverpool will reportedly look to sign 22-year-old Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United this summer.
According to a report by Anfield Watch, Crysencio Summerville is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are scouring the market for potential candidates to replace Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old Leeds United winger has thus emerged on their wishlist.
Crysencio Summerville at Leeds United: The Story So Far
Crysencio Summerville has come leaps and bounds since joining Leeds United from Feyenoord in September 2020. The Dutchman took some time to get going at Elland Road but has not looked back since establishing a foothold in the first-team squad. In particular, he has been excellent since Leeds United’s relegation to the EFL Championship.
The 22-year-old has contributed to 18 goals in 23 appearances in the EFL Championship thus far this season, finding the back of the net 12 times while providing six assists. Summerville is the driving force behind Leeds United’s promotion bid, as they look to return to the Premier League after just one season.
But Summerville’s progress this season means Leeds United might lose him in the summer transfer window. The youngster has no shortage of suitors, with Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa showing interest in him. He has now emerged as a target for Liverpool, albeit for a summer move.

Liverpool might lose Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window, with Saudi Pro League clubs not giving up hope of signing him. While the Egyptian international is open to signing a new contract at Anfield, the lure of the riches from his sale has created a complicated situation.
So, it behoves Liverpool to scour the market for potential candidates to replace Salah ahead of the 2024/25 season. Crysencio Summerville has thus emerged as a viable target for the Merseyside club. But the 22-year-old performs at his best from the left flank, even though he is adept at reprising a similar role on the right wing.
Nonetheless, the Reds have several options on their radar heading into the summer transfer window. But a move for a wide attacker depends on Salah departing from Anfield. So, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool will land Summerville this summer.
