Manchester United have reportedly contacted the entourage of 24-year-old versatile Brazilian midfielder Ederson over a possible winter move.
According to a report by Goal Brasil, Ederson is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils are scouring the market for a midfielder in the ongoing transfer window. And they have already contacted the Brazilian midfielder’s entourage over a possible move. In addition, they will soon submit a bid to Atalanta.
Who is Ederson?
Ederson Jose dos Santos Lourenco da Silva, better known as Ederson, is a native of Campo Grande. The 24-year-old spent his formative years in his homeland and represented Desportivo Brasil, Cruzeiro, Corinthians, and Fortaleza before arriving in Europe. Salernitana signed him in January 2022, but his stint with the Serie A club lasted only six months.
Atalanta secured Ederson’s services in July 2022, and he has gone from strength to strength since then. While La Dea would have hoped to have performed better in the last 18 months, the Brazilian midfielder has made his mark. He has been a mainstay in the middle of the park for Atalanta, chipping in with five goals and one assist in 23 appearances thus far.
