Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme, a target for Chelsea and Manchester United.

A report from 90min has claimed that Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on Luis Guilherme. But the two Premier League heavyweights will now face stiff competition from North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

The 17-year-old is rated highly in South America, and he has a bright future ahead of him. The opportunity to play for a big Premier League club can be hard to turn down, and the player is likely to be excited to join these clubs. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat the competition from their Premier League rivals and secure his services.

Guilherme is a prodigious talent with a high ceiling, and he could develop into a key player for Tottenham in the coming seasons. The North London outfit are likely to part ways with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the coming months, and they will need to replace him adequately.

The Brazilian midfielder could be the ideal long-term replacement for the Denmark international. But Tottenham will compete with Manchester United and Chelsea, who could use more depth in the central midfield as well.

The Red Devils will have to bring in someone who can control the tempo of the game and recycle possession. Guilherme would be a quality acquisition for both Premier League clubs. As far as Chelsea are concerned, the Blues need to add more depth to the central midfield.

Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher are the only reliable options at their disposal right now. The 17-year-old will want to join a club where he will get ample first-team action, and a move to Tottenham, Chelsea or Manchester United could be an interesting opportunity for him.

Although that talented young midfielder will need time to adapt to the Premier League, he has the technical attributes to thrive in England and establish himself as a key player for Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United. In addition, working under managers like Ange Postecoglou, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag could help the youngster fulfil his potential in the coming seasons.
