West Ham United have added Quilindschy Hartman to their list of left-back targets as they scramble to make key signings before the season opener.

According to Daily Mail, West Ham United have added Quilindschy Hartman to their list of new left-back targets. The 21-year-old Eredivisie-winning full-back could leave the Dutch side if the Hammers make a convincing offer in the coming days.

West Ham United are thoroughly struggling for relevance in the transfer market. They are the only Premier League side yet to make a senior signing and have faced disappointments in pursuing several targets. For instance, a few days ago, they were robbed by Ajax for Carlos Borges, who was very close to signing for the Hammers.

Similarly, they are on the verge of calling off a move for James Ward-Prowse due to a price issue, while many of their primary targets have refused to join them. There are several areas that David Moyes intends to strengthen in this window, but they are nowhere close to bringing a single player yet.

One of the positions where Moyes wants a. new addition is left back. Not that West Ham do not have sufficient options; both Aaron Cresswell and Emerson were underwhelming last season. The former is rumored to want a transfer away this summer, which could force the club to look for reinforcements.

Chelsea’s 21-year-old Ian Maatsen was a target earlier. But Mauricio Pochettino could have other ideas, such as keeping him in the team. They have searched the market for a few others, but nobody has come close to being suited to their style.

There were links to Adrien Truffert, who plays for Rennes, but nothing concrete in those connections. West Ham have added Quilindschy Hartman to this list and could make an approach to sign the 21-year-old Eredivisie-winning full-back.

Hartman was a key member of Feyenoord’s Eredivisie winning campaign. He contributed with two goals and five assists. The full-back was one of the brightest players in the Netherlands. But taking a big step into the Premier League could be a different challenge.

West Ham know Feyenoord could negotiate a deal for the Eredivisie-winning full-back, who has two years left on his current contract. Often, Dutch league players tend to move to England for the top tier football, and West Ham may have a good chance.

They must make a compelling offer that convinces Feyenoord to accept any deal. Moyes would want the signing or any signing done before the season begins, as he essentially has the same squad from last season, minus Declan Rice.
