Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United have reportedly made enquiries for Kylian Mbappe, a target for Real Madrid.

According to a report by Duncan Castles, several high-profile clubs have approached Paris Saint-Germain for Kylian Mbappe. Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United have submitted enquiries for the 24-year-old. And the in-demand attacker is also a target for Real Madrid this summer.

Kylian Mbappe might have played his final game for Paris Saint-Germain after Les Parisiens left him out of the pre-season tour to Asia. The French international is training with out-of-favour players like Georginio Wijnaldum back in Paris. And the latest bombshell update has come in the wake of his revelation that he does not want to sign a new contract with PSG.

But the 24-year-old, who amassed 41 goals and ten assists in 43 appearances last season, has insisted he wants to honour his PSG contract. But the French champions want to cash in on the player in the ongoing transfer window. And Mbappe’s situation has captured the attention of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United, among others.

Mbappe’s name has featured prominently on Real Madrid’s wishlist for the better part of the last half a decade. And the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner’s decision not to sign a new contract with PSG has left Los Blancos in a handy position. But Real Madrid will prefer to secure his services next summer instead of this year.

As for Barcelona, reports this week have made contradictory claims about the Catalan club’s interest in the Frenchman. While some have suggested they are keen, others have insisted they will not pursue Mbappe’s signature. Nonetheless, Duncan Castles has said that Barcelona recently made an enquiry over Mbappe’s situation.

Meanwhile, several Premier League clubs are also keen on securing Mbappe’s services. And Duncan Castles has suggested that Chelsea and Manchester United have approached PSG for the World Cup winner. In addition, Tottenham and Inter Milan are also looking to sign him from PSG this summer.

Widespread reports have suggested that Mbappe’s preferred destination will be Real Madrid. But with the two parties looking to come together in 2024, other suitors will smell blood. However, PSG will not have much bargaining power, as the final decision rests with the French international. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United turn Mbappe’s head.
