Aurelien Tchouameni has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool keen.

According to a report from Defensa Central, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all come forward with approaches for Aurelien Tchouameni. But Real Madrid have now rejected their advances, as they do not want to sell him.

Apparently, the Spanish giants want to hold on to the player beyond this summer. The player wants to stay at Real Madrid as well. Tchouameni joined Real Madrid last summer in an €80 million deal, and he had a mixed campaign with them.

While he managed to impress from time to time, his overall performance did not live up to expectations. The French international midfielder is regarded as a world-class prospect, and he could have been a key player for a club like Arsenal.

The Gunners are set to sign Declan Rice from West Ham. But they still need to bring in another quality midfielder who can partner the England international. Tchouameni would have been an excellent addition to the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have parted ways with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante. They will need to bring in a top-class defensive midfielder and Tchouameni certainly fits the profile. The Blues have been linked with Moises Caicedo as well.

As for Liverpool, they were desperate to sign the 23-year-old before he moved to Real Madrid. And it seems that they have reignited their interest in the player. Jurgen Klopp might feel that he can get the best out of the Real Madrid midfielder. But it remains to be seen whether the Reds decide to make another move for him in the coming weeks.

Liverpool midfielders Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia, and the Reds will have to replace them adequately. Signing the 23-year-old Frenchman could prove to be a wise move. The French international has the technical ability, physicality and athleticism to succeed in the Premier League, and he certainly fits in the mould of players Klopp prefers.

Real Madrid are looking to put together a squad for the future, especially with the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in their twilight years. They will not want to sell a talented young midfielder who could develop into a key player for them in the coming seasons.
