AC Milan are keen on signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek and are ready to shell out €20 million for the Dutchman.

According to Fichajes, AC Milan are eager to provide Donny van de Beek an escape route from his Manchester United hell with a move in the summer. The Serie A giants are willing to pay €20 million for the Dutchman as they seek midfield reinforcements following the departure of Sandro Tonali.

AC Milan are aiming to make smart moves in this transfer window as they were recently provided with a cash injection. The surprise sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United has provided the Serie A giants with funds to reinforce their squad.

Stefano Pioli will focus on strengthening the midfield following the Italian midfielder’s departure. AC Milan have signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea, but the manger wants more depth in the position. Hence, they are now willing to make an offer to sign Donny van de Beek from Manchester United.

The Manchester United midfielder has been a masive flop since his high-profile €39 million move from Ajax. He had hoped to make a mark under former manager Erik ten Hag but seems destined to leave the club after some underwhelming displays.
