Randal Kolo Muani offers himself to Real Madrid

Real Madrid will reportedly have the opportunity to sign 24-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani this summer.

According to a report by Spanish outlet MARCA, Randal Kolo Muani has offered his services to Real Madrid. The Merengues are in the market for an attacking reinforcement. And they will have the chance to sign the 24-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt forward in the summer transfer window.

Randal Kolo Muani has come leaps and bounds since joining Eintracht Frankfurt from FC Nantes last summer. The French international had gone under the radar in the early years of his professional career. But his stock has skyrocketed during the 2022/23 season. And he also went to Qatar with the French national side for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old nearly clinched the World Cup for France with an injury-time winner, only for Emi Martinez to thwart him. But Kolo Muani has enjoyed a superb campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt, contributing to 40 goals in 45 appearances (23 strikes, 17 assists). And the player’s progress has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs. Meanwhile, he has offered himself to Real Madrid.

The Merengues are in a precarious position over the long-term future of Karim Benzema. Recent reports have claimed that the French international will likely leave Real Madrid to move to Saudi Arabia. But the latest update on Thursday night revealed that the Real Madrid captain has made a U-turn.

While Benzema might stay at Real Madrid beyond the summer transfer window, it behoves them to keep their options open. Kai Havertz is thus a top target for Los Blancos, with Kolo Muani now emerging as an option. And the 24-year-old is a well-rounded option, considering he has provided 17 assists this season.

But if Benzema stays, signing Havertz might be a better option, considering the Chelsea attacker is more versatile. With Marco Asensio on the verge of leaving, the Merengues need a wide attacker. While Kolo Muani can play out wide, he is not as effective on the flanks. Meanwhile, Joselu is on the verge of joining Real Madrid on loan this summer.

So it will be interesting to see if Kolo Muani becomes a top target for Real Madrid heading into the summer transfer window. For now, Havertz remains a strong possibility to bolster the Real Madrid attack.
