Bernardo Silva has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League since joining Manchester City. The 28-year-old has been a trusted lieutenant for Pep Guardiola in the last half a dozen seasons. And he has also been a pivotal figure for his national side for several years.
The Portuguese international has made nearly 300 appearances for Manchester City, amassing 53 goals and 58 assists. But Silva is eager to embark on a new adventure in the summer transfer window. Such a situation has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Barcelona.
The Catalan giants hold a long-standing interest in Silva, having attempted to sign him several times previously. But the never-ending financial issues forced Barcelona to abandon the pursuit.
