Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.

A report from Mundo Deportivo claims that Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have been tracking Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie for a while. And they could make their move at the end of the season.

The former AC Milan midfielder joined Barcelona on a free transfer, and he would have expected to establish himself as a key player for the Spanish giants. However, things have not gone according to plan for the Ivorian midfielder, and he finds himself on the fringes of the first team.

The 26-year-old has been a squad player for Xavi Hernandez, and he needs to leave the club in order to play regularly. The player has been linked with a move to the Premier League before. So it is no surprise that clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham are keeping tabs on him.

Manchester United will have to find upgrades on players like Scott McTominay and Fred at the end of the season. The 26-year-old Barcelona midfielder seems like an ideal fit for them. He could form a solid partnership alongside Brazilian international Casemiro at the heart of Manchester United’s midfield.

As far as Chelsea are concerned, the Blues could lose players like Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher and N’Golo Kante at the end of the season. Graham Potter needs to bring in proper alternatives. And Kessie would be a superb acquisition for Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has been following the Ivorian midfielder from his time in Italy. And it remains to be seen whether he decides to make a move for the 26-year-old at the end of the season. Tottenham need to add more depth to the midfield, and Kessie would be a handy option for them.

The Ivorian has proven his quality in Serie A before joining Barcelona, and he will be desperate to get his career back on track. If Barcelona cannot provide him with regular action in the coming months, he should look to move on. A move to the Premier League could be the ideal next step in his career.

He has the physicality to thrive in English football. And he is likely to play more often add clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham. But recent reports have claimed that Barcelona will not entertain offers for their summer signing.
