Abde Ezzalzouli, better known as Ez Abde, progressed through the ranks at various Spanish clubs before striking gold at Hercules CF. He graduated into the first-team setup at Hercules while still in his teens before earning a big move to Barcelona. But the Moroccan international has made gradual progress since joining Barcelona.
The 21-year-old made a few appearances in Xavi Hernandez’s early days as the Barcelona boss. But Abde’s stock fell after the Blaugrana signed several attackers in the two transfer windows last year. So it was hardly surprising that Barcelona loaned him out last summer, with Osasuna signing him.
The youngster has gradually grown in stature at Osasuna this season, chipping in with three goals and two assists in 21 appearances. But Abde’s long-term Barcelona future is uncertain.
