Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race to sign Youssoufa Moukoko this summer.

According to a report by Jeunes Footeux, Youssoufa Moukoko is the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain. The German prodigy might leave Borussia Dortmund as a free agent. And PSG will compete with Barcelona, Real Madrid, and others in the race to sign the young striker.

Youssoufa Moukoko is one of the best young strikers in the world. A product of the Borussia Dortmund academy, the 18-year-old is the youngest-ever player in Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League history. And he has featured regularly for Dortmund thus far this season.

The German prodigy has amassed six goals and six assists in 22 outings across all competitions. But Moukoko’s stint with Dortmund might end in the coming months as he has entered the final six months of his contract. And such a situation has captured the attention of Barcelona, Real Madrid, and PSG.

Barcelona will look to lay down a succession plan for Robert Lewandowski despite signing the Pole six months ago. But with the veteran striker well into his thirties, the Blaugrana will need to identify his long-term successor. And Moukoko has emerged as a viable target, with Barcelona contacting his entourage.

As for Real Madrid, Los Blancos will see Endrick arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in July 2024. But the demand of a long season means the Merengues need two top-class options for every position. The soon-to-be-free German prodigy is thus an option worth considering for Real Madrid. And the reigning La Liga champions are plotting a Bosman move for the teenage wonderkid.

But Barcelona and Real Madrid will have to fend off competition from PSG for the 18-year-old. And the interest from Les Parisiens is understandable amid uncertainties surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s future. With the French international somewhat unsettled at Parc des Princes, PSG might enter the market for an offensive reinforcement.
