Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
According to Fichajes, Paulo Dybala is ready to call off his near-seven-year association with Juventus and is looking for potential summer suitors. Four clubs are said to be interested in the 28-year-old Argentine international – Manchester United, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan. The two English giants are believed to be leading the race to sign the Juventus man.
Dybala moved to Juventus in a €41 million deal from Palermo in the 2015 summer transfer window. He has made 283 appearances for the Serie A giants across competitions in six and a half seasons since, scoring 113 goals and providing 48 assists.
The Argentine forward’s time with the Bianconeri has been riddled with inconsistency, with the forward failing to register more than ten league goals in consecutive seasons after his first two terms with them. Recurring injuries have not helped his case either.
Dybala has played 29 matches this season, scoring 13 times and assisting six goals across competitions. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old has been a mainstay in the Juventus squad, but he has repeatedly flirted with a move away from the club.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in 2020, but nothing materialised. The Red Devils want to sign a prolific forward, with Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial seemingly on their way out of the club. Also, Marcus Rashford has struggled for form, with reports linking him with a move away from Manchester United.
Manchester United have reportedly identified Cristiano Ronaldo’s former Juventus teammate as a potential signing. They are said to be keeping close tabs on Dybala’s situation at the Turin-based club.
On the other hand, Arsenal seem to be building towards something special under manager Mikel Arteta. The Gunners, too, are on the lookout for a striker who can lead their young team upfront. After the current season, they could be without Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah and have already lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona in January.

Arteta have reportedly identified Dybala as the right man to lead Arsenal’s resurgence. That the Argentine would be available on a free deal after this season only makes it much easier for the two Premier League heavyweights to make a serious summer move, but more clubs are bound to join the race to snap up the 28-year-old Argentine international.
