Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored on his Premier League debut for Manchester United, as they ran out 3-1 winners against AFC Bournemouth in their opening game of the new season.

Goals from Juan Mata and captain Wayne Rooney set the stage for superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score his third goal in four games for the Red Devils, as they went 3-0 in front. The Cherries managed to peg one back later, but the damage was already done.

After the match, Manchester United fans paid homage to Zlatan, as they looked forward to the good result as a sign of things to come.
