Frank Lampard has made wholesale changes to the eleven as Chelsea prepare to welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Stamford Bridge for their latest Premier League game.

Frank Lampard has made half a dozen changes to the side that started against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week as Chelsea get set to host Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge. But there are no shuffles in the goal, with Kepa Arrizabalaga retaining his spot.

However, Kepa dons the captain’s armband, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante, and Mateo Kovacic not starting. Meanwhile, the Blues have seemingly lined up in a 4-3-3 formation after adopting the 3-5-2 system earlier this week.

Reece James has dropped to the bench to get some rest, with Trevoh Chalobah replacing him. Meanwhile, Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana form the central defensive partnership. And Ben Chilwell remains on the left flank. As for the midfield unit, Enzo Fernandez is the only player retaining his spot.

The Argentine international lines up alongside Denis Zakaria and Conor Gallagher in the middle of the park. So Mason Mount starts on the bench yet again. Finally, the offensive unit sees Christian Pulisic and Mykhailo Mudryk returning. The wide attackers join Raheem Sterling, who will likely lead the line for Chelsea against Brighton.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Kepa, Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, Badiashile, Chilwell, Gallagher, Enzo Fernandez, Zakaria, Pulisic, Sterling, Mudryk
