Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Tottenham: Partey starts in midfield; Zinchenko preferred to Tierney

Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko start for Arsenal against Tottenham as Mikel Arteta names a strong squad for the Emirates showdown.

Mikel Arteta has named his strongest possible lineup to face Tottenham, as Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko start for the Gunners. The duo were doubts ahead of the game but have seemingly made it to the team sheet after passing late fitness tests.

Ben White is the preferred starter at right-back, with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes pairing up at the heart of the Arsenal defence. Arteta has seemingly decided to include Zinchenko in place of Kieran Tierney at left-back.

Partey lines up in the midfield double-pivot alongside Granit Xhaka, who is seemingly playing a more attacking role in this team. Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard starts in the advanced role ahead of the duo and is flanked by Bukayo Saka on the right flank.

Gabriel Martinelli starts on the left-hand side, while Gabriel Jesus leads the line for Arsenal against Tottenham. The Gunners’ bench will include options such as Fabio Vieira, Eddie Nketiah and Tierney.
