Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Manchester United: Nketiah, Elneny start; Tomiyasu on the bench

Eddie Nketiah and Mohamed Elneny have held on to their place in the side while Takehiro Tomiyasu is on the bench for Arsenal against Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made one change to the starting lineup that beat Chelsea in midweek for their Premier League encounter against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

The solitary alteration comes in defence where Rob Holding has been left out to be replaced by Cedric Soares. The Portuguese star slots in at right-back, while Nuno Tavares continues on the left side. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes pair up at the heart of the Arsenal defence, shielding Aaron Ramsdale in goal.

Mohamed Elneny, who made a solid impression in the midweek clash against Chelsea, is retained in the lineup. He forms the double pivot in the middle of the park alongside Granit Xhaka. Martin Odegaard occupies the No. 10 role for the Gunners against Manchester United.

Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah complete the attacking unit for Arsenal, with the latter rewarded for his brace against Chelsea. Alexandre Lacazette remains on the bench, while Takehiro Tomiyasu has recovered from his injury and is back among the substitutes.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tavares, Elneny, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Nketiah.
