Antonio Conte has made two changes to the side that lost to Manchester United last week as Chelsea prepare to face Manchester City at Etihad.

N’Golo Kante is a surprise name missing from the matchday squad, possibly through an injury. The Frenchman has been replaced by Cesc Fabregas. Meanwhile, Eden Hazard starts in the False Nine role, with Alvaro Morata dropping to the bench. The Spanish striker has been replaced by compatriot Pedro.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made two changes to his side as well, with Aymeric Laporte and Oleksandr Zinchenko coming into the side in place of Vincent Kompany and Danilo. Sergio Aguero starts upfront, with Gabriel Jesus on the bench.
