Manchester United grabbed their first real trophy of the Jose Mourinho era, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the winner to power the Red Devils through over a resilient Southampton side.
Wayne Rooney was about to come on late in the game, when the result was tied at 2-2 and as Zlatan powered in a header, Rooney’s reaction to what turned out to be the winner, was a joy to behold for Manchester United fans.
The club captain went crazy at the sideline, hugging Rui Faria and joining the fans in celebration of Zlatan’s goal.
