Wayne Rooney does it and how. The club captain has finally become Manchester United’s all-time leading goalscorer, breaking Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 249 goals. Sir Bobby watched from the stands, with nothing but pride in his eyes as he saw his long-standing record being broken by a man who truly deserves to etch his name into the history of the club.

Rooney executed the free-kick perfectly in stoppage time to salvage a point and avoid a loss, one which would have broken the current undefeated run that the Red Devils have mustered.
