Manchester United pulled off a comeback victory over Turkish Superlig club Galatasaray, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini among the goals.

Zlatan scored on his debut while Wayne Rooney scored a brace, as the Red Devils eased past Galatasaray after being 2-1 down at halftime. The victory was Jose Mourinho’s first of his United career, as the club now prepare to begin their season of redemption.

After the match, Man United fans singled out club veteran Antonio Valencia for praise. The Ecuadorian played at right-back and had a cracker of a game, notching up three assists and providing a constant threat from the wing in a man-of-the match winning performance.
