Reds manager Jurgen Klopp spearheaded the Liverpool staff side as they took on Stanford University as a part of their pre-season tour.

In a special match scheduled on Sunday for Liverpool, manager Jurgen Klopp was part of the staff squad that took on Stanford University as a part of the Reds’ pre-season tour. It ended in a stalemate with both team scoring one goal a piece, but provided plenty of entertainment for the people in attendance.

The German coach played in attack, midfield as well as defence for his side, but unfortunately failed to register a goal. However, Liverpool physiotherapist Ruben Pons scored a belter, finding the back of the net with an effort from behind the half-line.
