The Hard Tackle lists eight differentials to target for your teams in FPL as we get closer to the Saturday deadline for Gameweek 11.

The 2023/24 Premier League season rolls on, with Gameweek 11 kicking off on Saturday. While managers are finalising their plans for the latest round of fixtures, team owners in FPL are not behind.

With a quarter of the new season already over, teams at the top of the standings are looking eerily similar. So, identifying the best differentials is crucial to get ahead of the competition and reach the pinnacle in FPL.

As Gameweek 11 gets closer and with many managers still yet to play their wildcards, they can get most of the differentials into their teams in one go. With that in mind, The Hard Tackle lists eight players you can bring in to get ahead of the curve.

Sam Johnstone (3.8%)

Many goalkeepers made the cut to feature in this column. But we have gone with Sam Johnstone due to the value he has brought to the table this season, considering he is one of the top-scoring shot-stoppers thus far.

No goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets than the Englishman (4), while the players ahead of him in the points table all have a higher price tag. So, at £4.5 and with Crystal Palace having an eye-catching run of fixtures, signing Johnstone is a no-brainer if you do not want Joachim Andersen in your teams.

Lucas Digne (6.4%)

Like Crystal Palace, Aston Villa’s fixture run is appealing, with the next four games having a difficulty rating of 3 or lower. So, keeping one of their defenders in your team makes sense, considering their clean-sheet potential.

Matty Cash is one of the most popular defenders in the game, with 35% of the managers having him on their teams. But Lucas Digne has also fared well this term. And with the Frenchman featuring in only 6.4% of the teams, taking a punt on him might serve you well. He has already provided three assists this season. And at £4.7, he will not set you back by much.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (5.6%)

From a low-priced defender to one who falls in the mid-priced category, we go ahead with another candidate who can provide a lot of value to your teams. We are talking about Oleksandr Zinchenko.

William Saliba and Ben White are the popular picks among the Arsenal defenders. And with Gabriel Magalhaes yet to establish a foothold as a regular this term, Oleksandr Zinchenko, at 5.6% TSB, is an attractive option. The Ukrainian international has also seen his price drop to £4.9, making him an appealing target, considering Arsenal’s reasonably straightforward fixture run.

Dominik Szoboszlai (6.0%)

Mohamed Salah has been the only popular pick from Liverpool in FPL this season despite the Reds’ excellent start to the campaign. With the Merseyside club not keeping many clean sheets, the defenders and Alisson Becker are not attractive picks. But Dominik Szoboszlai might be worth your attention.

If you do not have the funds to keep Salah in your team, the summer signing, at £7.1, is a much cheaper option. In addition, he has provided four assists this term while being on set-pieces. So, at 6.0% ownership, he might be worth your attention.

Gabriel Martinelli (5.1%)

The next midfield suggestion by us might be more attractive for you, although the player in question is slightly more expensive than Dominik Szoboszlai. We are talking about Gabriel Martinelli.

While Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are popular picks from Arsenal, Martinelli has gone under the radar. While his tally thus far might not excite prospective suitors, his directness makes him a dual threat to the opposition. And at just 5.1% TSB, taking a punt on the Brazilian attacker might not be risky.

Hwang Hee-chan (3.2%)

The third and final midfield suggestion is also the cheapest of the trio. In addition, this player has been sensational thus far this season, which begs the question of why he is in only 3.2% of the FPL teams. We are talking about Hwang Hee-chan.

The South Korean international is by far the highest scorer for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season, finding the back of the net six times thus far. Hwang also seems to be fixture-proof, considering he has scored against Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Liverpool. So, at a price of £5.5, he can be a budget-friendly signing for your FPL teams.

Callum Wilson (5.4%)

Our list with end with two forwards who have not found themselves in many FPL teams thus far this season. But considering their exploits, it is surprising how they have gone under the radar. The first of this duo is Callum Wilson.

The veteran striker features in only 5.4% of the FPL teams, with strike partner Alexander Isak having a TSB of over 15%. But with the Swedish international out until after the international break, there is no looking past Wilson at Newcastle United.

The Englishman has already found the back of the net six times in the 2023/24 Premier League season. He has the best minutes-per-goal ratio, and with his position not under threat anymore, there is no reason not to have him on your teams.

Taiwo Awoniyi (2.2%)

Our list ends with another striker who has surprisingly gone under the radar. But the reason for Taiwo Awoniyi’s drop in ownership numbers might be his recent injury, which forced managers to part ways with him in the last few weeks.

But the former Liverpool striker has now returned to action, giving his admirers reason to get him back into their teams. And considering he either scored a goal or provided an assist in his first five outings this term, coupled with Nottingham Forest’s appealing fixture run, signing Awoniyi can help you rapidly climb the charts.
