The Oscar Zambrano Story

The 19-year-old is also on the cusp of breaking into his national team after making strides on the first-team level. He has already made nearly 50 appearances thus far for LDU Quito, chipping in with one goal and one assist. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress at the club has not gone unnoticed.

A Man in Demand

He initially appeared on the radar of European bigwigs when he emerged as a target for Barcelona last year. But the reigning La Liga champions did not step up their interest in the youngster.
