Manchester United are ready to battle it out with Barcelona for the services of 19-year-old South American sensation Oscar Zambrano.
According to a report by Fichajes, Manchester United are keen on having Oscar Zambrano in their ranks, and they are set to battle it out with Barcelona to land him at Old Trafford. The 19-year-old defensive midfielder is a huge prospect for the future, and there is some serious interest from European clubs in his services.
Oscar Zambrano has come through the ranks at LDU Quito. The Ecuador Under-20 star made it to their first team last winter and has since featured in a total of 35 and has even contributed with a goal.
In the ongoing season, he has racked up over 1,200 minutes in 18 appearances. The teenage sensation has put in some impressive performances in the Ecuadorian top flight, and those performances have not gone unnoticed.
The teenager has been scouted by some of the biggest clubs in the world of football. Barcelona are one of the clubs interested in the services. The Catalan giants have been keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old for a while now, and they are keen on having him in their ranks next season.
