Barcelona will soon approach Arthur Vermeeren through his representatives while also submitting an enquiry to Royal Antwerp.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Arthur Vermeeren remains the subject of interest from Barcelona. The Catalan giants will soon sound out the 18-year-old Belgian midfield prodigy through his agent. In addition, they will approach Royal Antwerp for the teenage sensation.
Arthur Vermeeren has been with Royal Antwerp since July 2018 and has come leaps and bounds in the last half a decade. The Belgian wonderkid is one of the best young prospects in his homeland and currently represents his nation’s Under-21 team. In addition, he is already a regular for his club.
The 18-year-old midfield sensation has turned out ten times thus far this season for Royal Antwerp while chipping in with two assists. Meanwhile, Vermeeren’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Barcelona.
