West Ham United continue to be linked with a move for the Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus but have failed with their latest offer.
A report from 90min claims that West Ham United have now failed with the second offer to sign Mohammed Kudus. The versatile Ajax attacker is also a target for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Kudus is reportedly valued at €50 million, and the latest package from West Ham is thought to be around €42 million. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs agree to reach a compromise in the coming days. Kudus has been linked with clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal as well.
West Ham need to bring in quality attacking reinforcements, and the 22-year-old Ghana international would have been an exceptional acquisition. The Ghanaian international is likely to get better with coaching and experience. In addition, he has the attributes to develop into a top-class Premier League attacker.
Kudus scored 18 goals across all competitions last season, and he could have transformed West Ham in the final third. The Hammers struggled to score goals last season, and players like Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca failed to deliver on a consistent basis.

Someone like Kudus can be a major upgrade. So West Ham should look to raise their offer and get the deal across the line. They will compete in the UEFA Europa League this season, and they need quality players like him in order to do well in the European competition.
Meanwhile, Arsenal were not able to rotate their front three last season because of the lack of depth. The Gunners could use someone like Kudus who is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three.
Similarly, Chelsea struggled to find the back of the net consistently last season, and they need more quality in the attack. Christopher Nkunku has been sidelined with an injury, and the Blues could certainly use the 22-year-old this season.
It will be interesting to see where the Ghana international ends up eventually. He has the attributes to succeed in the Premier League. And a move to West Ham, Arsenal or Chelsea would be an exciting next step in his career.
