. Liverpool FC are closing in on the signing of former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp. The German is known for his emotional connection with the fans and he is sure to strike such a connection with a fanbase known for its love for the team and manager.
Following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers on Sunday, Klopp had emerged as the favourite to become the new manager. The German is inching closer to a move to Anfield and reports even suggest that the former Mainz manager is on a flight to Liverpool.
It is expected that the Reds would announce his appointment at 10:00 AM tomorrow and the fans simply cannot wait for the moment. The 48-year-old had a hugely successful career with Borussia Dortmund and was one of the only managers in the Bundesliga to challenge the supremacy of Bayern Munich.
