Pep Guardiola might have already announced his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the 2015/16 season, but Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger feels that such announcements so early in the season are not good for the morale of the team.
Guardiola’s current contract with the Bavarian club runs out at the end of the season, and the Catalan has reportedly put off talks about a contract extension. Seeing this, the bosses at Bayern Munich went ahead and signed former AC Milan, Chelsea FC and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently on a sabbatical.
However, Wenger feels that such announcements about Guardiola’s departure may go on to demoralise the Bayern Munich team, who are currently chasing a treble this season.
“Personally I don’t like the fact that the managers come out so early for what they will do, because it’s not necessarily good for their own team, nor for the speculation about the managers who are going through a little bit of a difficult patch,” Wenger said in a press conference as reported by the Daily Mirror.

What Wenger seemed to be referring to is the fact that due to the certainty of his departure from the club, there has been a lot of speculation that both Manchester City and Manchester United are looking to sign the Catalan as their new manager from the start of the 2016/17 season.
Also, with both the clubs on a bit of a bad run at the moment, these rumours seem to have been fuelled exponentially, putting both Manuel Pellegrini and Louis van Gaal under a lot of pressure at their respective Manchester Clubs.
