Reports in Marca say that the former Atletico Madrid man is wanted by rivals Real Madrid as well as his former club who are keen to bring the 29 year old Brazil international back from Chelsea FC following a A?15.8m move on a three-year contract last summer.

Real Madrid are well aware that Filipe Luis hasna t played as big a role as he would have liked in London, and are checking if the man who had a stint with Castilla as a youngster is open to a move to the Los Blancos.

Real Madrid have made their interest in the fullback known through an intermediary. However, the Chelsea FC fullback has rejected advances of the Spanish giants with Diego Simeone putting his former left back on top of his shopping list.

.

Filipe Luis has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, that he does not want to leave Chelsea FC unless it is to link back up with Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid, the coach he deems to have understood him the best in his career so far.

Chelsea FC are reportedly locked in the battle for Atletico Madrid defenders Joao Miranda with Manchester United and are also interested in Belgian international Toby Alderwiereld.

Atletico will be hoping to use the interest of the London side in their player to strike out a deal for Filipe Luis who is currently with the Brazil squad for the Copa America in Chile.
