Carlo Ancelotti Spotted Near Stamford Bridge; Jose Mourinho’s Time At Chelsea FC Coming To An End?

Chelsea FC might have won their last Premier League match against Norwich City, but their problems are still nowhere near to being over. This especially seems to be the case with manager Jose Mourinho, whose job constantly seems to be on the line.

In a rather disturbing report for the Portuguese, Carlo Ancelotti, the man who has been heavily tipped to replace Mourinho at the Stamford Bridge hot-seat, has been spotted near the Chelsea FC home ground, according to the Daily Mirror.

Ancelotti was the manager at the West London club from 2009 to 2011, and has mentioned that he would like to move back to the Premier League. The Italian, who has also won many trophies with teams like AC Milan and Real Madrid, has been without a club for some time now and has been linked to a number of top European sides.

Chelsea FC have been the main side that he has been linked to in the past few weeks, and with the team struggling currently, the speculation of a possible return has been rife.

No immediate threat to Mourinho’s job

Chelsea FC have had the worst start to a Premier League season by a defending champion, and are in fact closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top spot held by Leicester City.

This is why former manager Ancelotti has been heavily linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge. However, the Italian has said that he would only take up a new job when the new season starts, and this seems to have provided some short term security for Mourinho’s job.

At any rate, the appearance of Ancelotti near the premisces of Stamford Bridge does not bode well for Mourinho, who is said to be under some pressure at the Blues.
