Arsenal FC Team News: Wilshere And Debuchy Fit, Szczesny Set To Start Against Reading

Arsenala s Arsene Wenger revealed the team news ahead of their game against Reading in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley.

Arsene confirmed that Jack Wilshere is back from injury and is available for selection.

He said, a He has improved physically and I think he is available for selection on Saturday.a

Arsene also confirmed that Wojciech Szczesny would start in place of David Ospina, as has been the
case every season, where the cup and league goalkeepers are always different.

He said, a It will be Szczesny [who plays] on Saturday.a

When asked whether he can cope with the pressures of a semifinal considering he did not play in the FA Cup last season, Arsene said, a But he has played in the last round. This season he has played at Man United and he had a very good performance. I believe ita s important that the two goalkeepers get competition and he will get competition in the FA Cup now, as long as Ospina plays in the Premier League.a

The manager also confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was at least 2 weeks away from returning to fitness. a We have a big squad available for selection and we just have Arteta (match fitness) and Oxlade-Chamberlain (groin) unavailable. Everybody else should be alright.a

Even though Jack Wilshere is available for selection, it is highly unlikely he will get to start the match. At best, he would come on as a sub late in the game. The only likely change could be Debuchy coming in for Bellerin, but it is doubtful if Wenger would want to change a winning combination.
