Former Switzerland international Ramon Vega has said that his ex- international teammate Xherdan Shaqiri would be a great addition for Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool have been linked with Bayern Munich and Switzerland winger Xherdan Shaqiri for a long while. The links, in fact, started when Liverpool’s pursuit of Mohamed Salah got hijacked successfully by Jose Mourinho. Since then, Shaqiri has been constantly linked with Liverpool and he and his brother have both made comments on the matter too.

Shaqiri was currently on duty with the national side at the World Cup and was an instrumental part of the Swiss side that reached the knockout stages and almost emerged victorious against a very strong Argentinian team in the Round of 16 tie. Shaqiri had a great game against the South Americans but he would remember his hat-trick in the group stages, against Honduras,the most.
Shaqiri was bought by Bayern Munich in 2012 for aAi??reported ai??i??11.6 millionAi??from Swiss side Basle, where he had Ai??established himself after bursting into the scenes as a teenager in 2009. He has been awarded the Swiss Player of the Year twice, in 2011 and 2012. The winger has already won 13 major trophies that include a Champions League and 2 Bundesliga titles and is just 22.
He was brought in by the German giants as a heir-apparent to Franck Ribery and has been tipped to replace the Frenchman at the Allianz Arena. But the player has grown increasingly impatient at the lack of playing time and is himself keen on a move to Anfield.Ai??He only started 10 league matches for the Bavarian club, thus contributing to Bayernai??i??s title win mainly from the bench.
