Manchester Unitedai??i??s inability to grab a win against 10-man Aston Villa left Louis van Gaal frustrated at Villa Park.
Manchester United came into this match on the back of six straight wins and were the favourites to continue that run against an Aston Villa side who have won only two games at Villa Park this season. But it was the home side who took the early lead with Christian Benteke scoring with a fantastic left footed curler, which left David De Gea stranded in Manchester United goal.
Manchester United dominated most of the possession after that as Villa sat back and absorbed all the pressure. But the Red Devils found their equalizer in the second half as Radamel Falcao scored his second league goal of the season with a wonderful header. Aston Villa were further put on the back foot with Gabriel Agbonlahor shown a red card in the 65th minute of the match.
But despite having numerical advantage, Manchester United failed to break down the Villa defence for the winner, this left Louis van Gaal disappointed after the game.
